Audio, Video & Screenshare

Starting a call

Once you've shared the bitpaper URL and a collaborator joins, you'll hear a ding-dong notification. To begin communicating, click the Call button in the bottom-right corner to open the communications panel. From here, you can start an audio/video call, screenshare, and/or use the chat.

Your collaborator will receive a pop-up invitation to join the call. Once they accept, you'll hear a chime confirming they've connected.

During a call

  • Reposition video windows – drag and drop them anywhere on the whiteboard

  • Maximise a window – expand a specific video window for a larger view

  • Theatre Mode – toggle a full-screen view of all video windows

You can also mute your microphone, turn your camera on or off, or pin a specific video window to the top of the list.

Screensharing

Click the third icon on your video window to share your screen. This lets other participants view applications outside of Bitpaper, such as a spreadsheet, browser tab, or any other open window on your computer.

Note: Screensharing is not currently supported on iOS devices (iPhone and iPad).

Ending a call

When you're done, all participants should click hang up to end the call.
