The Pen tool
Bitpaper has great handwriting capabilities which works well when paired with a graphics tablet or smart device. The pen tool, activated by clicking on the pen or by pressing 1 enables drawing freehand:
This can be used to write words, equations or draw shapes.
And holding shift activates the ruler, allowing you to draw straight lines at any angle:
Pressing 2 opens the tool settings in the side bar:
From this menu you can change:
The width and colour of the pen
The width of the eraser
The colour, width and opacity of the highlighter.
The eraser is accessed by pressing 3 or clicking the eraser icon:
The highlighter is accessed by pressing 8 or clicking on the highlighter icon:
Quick Colour palette
With the pen tool selected, 1, right clicking will bring up the quick colour palette:
There are 9 predefined colours, with the option to customise them to your personal preference, and a slider to set the pen width.
