The Pen tool
Bitpaper has handwriting capabilities that work well when paired with a graphics tablet, touch screen tablet or stylus. The pen tool, activated by clicking on the pen or by pressing 1 on your keyboard, enables drawing freehand:
This can be used to write words, equations, or draw shapes. Holding shift activates the ruler, allowing you to draw straight lines at any angle:
Pressing 2 opens the tool settings in the sidebar:
From this menu, you can change:
The width and colour of the pen
The width of the eraser
The colour, width and opacity of the highlighter.
Access 'Zoom & Rotate' Gesture Settings
The eraser is accessed by pressing 3 or clicking the eraser icon:
The highlighter is accessed by pressing 8 or clicking on the highlighter icon:
Quick Colour palette
With the pen tool selected, 1, right clicking* will bring up the quick colour palette:
* Apple Device: option + right click
There are 9 predefined colours, with the option to customise them to your personal preference, and a slider to set the pen width.
These settings will be saved if you are logged into your paper.
