Using the pan tool

The pan tool allows you to pan on each page. As each page is infinite, you can pan in any direction, infinitely, as long as your system can manage it. We recommend not panning excessively and instead starting a new page. This keeps each paper a reasonable size and keeps it fast and responsive. The pan tool is accessed by selecting it from the tool bar or by pressing 4 on your keyboard:

Return to the centre of the page

Clicking on the recenter tool will move the view to the centre of the page.

Changing pages

Each paper can contain up to 100 pages. To move forward to the next page, press > or click the down arrow. If a page does not exist, it will be created as long as there are fewer than 100 pages in the paper.

To move back a page, press < or click the up arrow.

The page menu

The page menu is accessed by clicking the three dots next to a page number:

This allows 5 options:

  1. Delete page - Permanently delete the page; this is not reversible.

  2. Create a new page - Creates a new page and it is inserted after the page currently selected.

  3. Duplicate page - Copies the page and its contents to a new page, inserted after the page currently selected.

  4. Previous page - View the previous page

  5. Next page - View the next page

To close the menu, click the three dots above the delete page/bin icon.
